Taylor Gets Key To The City

During Monday night’s workshop of the Hazlehurst City Council, Mayor Bayne Stone gave the key to the city to Andrea Taylor, president and CEO of the Hazlehurst-Jeff Davis County Joint Development Authority and Chamber of Commerce. Taylor, who was completely surprised by the gesture, accepted the award from Stone as he noted, “We thank you for your never-ending and wonderful service. You are a real jewel, and we think you deserve the key to the City of Hazlehurst.” Taylor has been a key player in bringing industry and events to Hazlehurst and Jeff Davis and keeping the community in the forefront of the news.
