Mr. Felton ‘Febbie’ Howell, 73

Services for Mr. Felton “Febbie” Howell, 73, who died Sept. 11 at Jeff Davis Hospital, were held Sept. 19 at Dillard Cemetery in Lumber City. The Rev. Charles A. Anderson was in charge and the Rev. Charles A. Anderson and Bishop William Hollis officiated. Music was provided by Vera Mitchell.
Mr. Howell, known as “Febbie,” was born on Nov. 22, 1946, in Wheeler County to the late Author T. and Roxie Howell. He was educated in Wheeler County Schools. Preceding him in death were siblings Joyce, Uhlys, Jeanette, Arthut P., Phelicia, and Winnie Pearl.
Survivors include children Nyja (Natisha) Howell of Boston, Va., Misty Howell of Lakeland, Fla., and Devin (Jessica) Studstill of Atlanta; sisters Marjorie (Earl) Clemons of East Orange, N.J., and Ms. Francine Severe of Lumber City; brother Emory Howell of East Orange, N.J.; grands Natalia Howell, Shantelle Tuck, Malayzjah Howell, Nyjah Wooten, Madison and Cagan Studstill; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and classmates.
King Brothers Funeral Home was in charge.
