Mrs. Patricia Ann Rawlins, 80

Mrs. Patricia Ann Rawlins, 80, of Vidalia died Aug. 29 at Summers Landing Assisted Living after a brief illness.
Patricia, a native of Wrightsville, lived most of her life in Jeff Davis County until becoming ill 10 years ago and moving to Vidalia for assisted care. Patricia was a retired supervisor of 25 years for Amercord and was a member of Lumber City Church of God.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Russell Rawlins; sister, Amerilus Scott, and brother, Jerry Blount.
Patricia is survived by her son, Joe Moon of Hazlehurst; daughter, Esther “Missy” (Kenny) Welch of Hazlehurst; sister, Melba (Charles) Brooks of Macon; grandchildren, Jodie Dunn, Joseph Moon, and Kendra Welch; several great-grandchildren; nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service will follow later.
