Mrs. Denise Dixon, 56

Graveside services for Mrs. Denise Dixon, 56, who died Aug. 8, were held Aug. 22 at Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery where Elder Eddie Harmon officiated, along with Minister Blackshear and Deacon Johnson.
Mrs. Dixon, born in Jesup, was the daughter of the late Mr. Wilma Pearsey of Jesup and Cora Bell Robinson of Hazlehurst. She attended school in Jesup until her 10th grade year; then moved to start school in Hazlehurst, where later she married Kenneth Dixon. She enjoyed singing, fishing, spending time with her husband, kids, grandkids and friends. She was an active member of Bennett Tabernacle. Preceding here in death were her parents; her siblings, Larry Roberts, Eddie “Peanut” (Carol) Roberts, Ulysses Pearsey, Beatrice Lee, Rozell Gilmore, Jimmy Lee Pearsey, Walter Pearsey, her twin brother, Dennis Pearsey and her son, Reginald Mitchell.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Dixon; children, Candace Hardy, Ashford Percy, Dennis Mitchell, Christopher Mitchell, Justin Bryant, and Jason Bryant; grandkids, Jasmine Percy, Shawn Percy, Zion Percy, Zayden Percy, Briana Mitchell, Jocalyne Mitchell, Jeremiah Mitchell, Cortez Mitchell, Carter Mitchell, Conner Mitchell, Kylere Bryant, Abigail Bryant, Adora Bryant, Isabella Nakama, E’Lissa Bryant, Sarina Bryant, J’Kari Bryant, and J’Tari; a great-granddaughter, Brazhly Johnson; siblings, Corine Howard, Wilma Jean Robinson, Carline Copeland, James Daniels, Verdine Robinson, Isaac (Carolyn) Bryant, Clifford Bryant; special nephew, Samuel Gibson and a host of family and friends.
