Mr. Winnon Douglas Griffin, 51

Mr. Winnon Douglas Griffin, 51, passed away Sept. 4 at Lumber City Nursing Home.
Mr. Griffin was born Nov. 21, 1968, in Alma. He was preceded in death by his father, Winnon Griffin, mother and step-father, Nettie Selph Hamilton and Leroy Hamilton Jr., brother, Allie Jerome Griffin and a sister, Lavon Gambrel. He was a member of Shelton Chapel United Methodist Church and attended Appling Jeff Davis Services Center.
He is survived by his brother, Wesley Griffin of Hazlehurst and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held Sept. 8 at Hazlehurst City Cemetery with the Rev. Allen Rea officiating
