Mr. John L. Kinney Jr., 62

Mr. John L. Kinney Jr., 62, of Ailey, died Aug. 26 at Meadows Health after an extended illness.
John was a native of San Diego, Calif., having lived in Ailey since 2002. He was a truck driver and Methodist by faith. John was preceded in death by his parents, John and Elgamarie Kinney.
Survivors include sons, John Lee Kinney III of Russelville, Ky., Bennie Rae Kinney of Russelville, Ky., and Joshua Breeder of Hazlehurst; brother, James Kinney of Alston; sisters, Janet Louise Hill of Alston, Joyce Kinney of Lyons, Jennifer Lorraine Kinney of Alston, and Julianne Miles of Hawkinsville; three grandchildren.
Services were Aug. 29 at Ronnie L. Stewart Funeral Service Vidalia Chapel with the Rev. Efton Green officiating. Interment was in Moseley Cemetery.
