Bridge work continues

The SR 135 (Uvalda Highway) Bridge over the Altamaha River is underway in Jeff Davis County. So far, contractors have completed the pile, footers, and columns on all the bents within the river bank. Traffic should transition to the new bridge in Spring 2021 with the new boat ramp coming later that summer.
