Jeff Davis Sheriff Preston Bohannon has announced this week that several drug-related arrests have been made in Jeff Davis County. Sheriff Bohannon said that as a result of several drug investigations, intense drug suppression efforts, by investigators and deputies, several suspects have been arrested in Jeff Davis County on the following charges:
Dakoda Christopher Brinkley of Hazlehurst was charged with possession of methamphetamine.
Loren Dewayne Carver of Hazlehurst was charged with possession of a controlled substance
James Tyrone Grantham of Midway was charged with possession of heroin and possession of a controlled substance (Hydrocodone)
Crystal Michelle Hall of Hazlehurst was charged with of possession of methamphetamine and possession of a controlled substance.
Najee Landon Harris of Marietta was charged with trafficking in cocaine and other illegal drugs, possession of with intent to distribute marijuana and felony fleeing and attempting to elude law enforcement.
Joe Daniel Morris Jr. was charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Abdula C. Sewell of New Jersey was charged with trafficking cocaine, methamphetamine, or other illegal drugs.
Jason Alan Thornton of Hazlehurst was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug related objects.
Joseph Heasley of Hazlehurst was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Rodney Raynard King Jr. of Hazlehurst was charged with two counts of sale of cocaine and sale of cocaine within a 1,000 feet of a park.
Bob Christopher Harper of Hazlehurst was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of a drug related object.
Brock Andrew Edwards of Hazlehurst was charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of a Schedule III controlled substance
Reuben Alexander Conley of Douglas was charged with possession of a controlled substance trafficking in cocaine, illegal drugs, marijuana or methamphetamine and possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony and possession of drug related objects.
