Mr. Abdul Jabar Rajai Furcron, 38

Services for Mr. Abdul Jabar Rajai Furcron, 38, who died Feb. 11, were held Feb. 22 at Bennett Tabernacle Holiness Church.
Pastor Tara Wilcox Woody, Evangelist Dorothy Dotson, Pastor James Earl Cray, Pastor Darrol Mitchell and Pastor Paul McLeod officiated the services.
Mr. Furcron was the son of Johnny H. Miles and Leslie Laron Furcron of L.A. County. He was one of eight children reared in a supportive and loving home. Abdul left California at an early age and moved to Hazlehurst where he resided with his father. He was preceded in death by his loving grandmother, Lula Bell Clements and Godfather, Alonzo James.
Survivors include his grandmothers, Sugar and Joan Furqan, Godmother, Geraldine James Cue; five sisters, Asha Furcron, Markeisha Burney, Tameka Brown, Mishaunda Wooten and Tezslyn Wooten; three brothers, Ahmad Furcron, Jonathan Miles and Azim Sanders and a host of family and friends.
Active pallbearers were Jonathan Miles, Glen Short, Ahmad Furcron, Azim Sanders, Darnell Terry and Anthony Fisher.
Honorary pallbearers were Troy Douglas, Queze Kirby, Ricardo Clements, Daniel Clements, Deandre Burney, Mike Dotson Jr., Mondray Weaver, Kiyon Dotson, and Al Hall.
Music was rendered by The Burney Family, The Benjamin Family, and Denise Bryant.
Thornton Funeral Home of Hazlehurst was in charge of arrangements.
