Mrs. Jeanette Morris Clifton, 90

Mrs. Jeanette Morris Clifton, 90, of Hazlehurst, died Dec. 27 at her residence.
Mrs. Clifton was born Dec. 13, 1929, in Jeff Davis County to the late Willie Morris and the late Alma Hutcheson Morris. She was a homemaker and is preceded in death by her husband, George W. Clifton, brother, Virgil Morris, son-in-law, Kenny Durden, and great-grandson, Collin McDaniel.
Survivors include her daughter, Gail Durden of Hazlehurst; son and daughter-in-law, George and Bonnie Clifton of Hazlehurst; brother, Stafford Morris (Elaine) of Hazlehurst; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Dec. 29 in the chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with the Rev. Keith Yawn officiating. Interment followed in Palms Memorial Garden.
Active pallbearers were Wesley Cleveland, Mason Cleveland, Carey McDaniel, Brent Brown, Alex Hampton, and Ethan Morris.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
