Tammie K. Johnson, 55

Tammie K. Johnson, 55, of Hazlehurst, died Oct. 22 at Jeff Davis Hospital.
Tammie was born Oct. 7, 1964, in Silver Springs, Maryland. She was a warehouse manager with South Georgia Cotton Gin and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her father, Harry James Johnson III.
Survivors include her son, Payten Hamm; mother, Mrs. Beverly Hennessee Johnson; sisters, Kimberley Tomlinson (Wallace), Amberley Jarusinski (Michael) and Heather Mims (Joey); brother, Harry James (Johnny) Johnson IV; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. in the chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with the Rev. John Nunes officiating.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
