Mr. Stacey Edward Colter, 45
Mr. Stacey Edward Colter, 45, of Flomaton, Ala., passed away Aug. 23 at his home.
Mr. Colter was born in McRae and had resided in Flomaton since 2008 coming from Tifton. During his working years he worked as a carpenter in the home building industry. He loved to garden, Alabama and Georgia football, and hanging out with all his buddies. He was a talented musician playing the drums and guitar and singing. He especially enjoyed his time with his son. Mr. Colter was of the Christian faith.
He is survived by his mother, Marie Colter Golden of Picayune, Miss.; wife, Heather Davis of Flomaton, Ala.; son, Jack Clifton of Flomaton, Ala.; daughters, Brianna Colter of Flomaton, Ala., Hannah Davis of Alamo, Madison Harris of Lumber City; brothers, Jamie Rivera of Mobile, Ala., Josh Dyal of Georgia; sisters, Jodie Dunn of Picayune, Miss., Chrissy Dyal of Hazlehurst, Amanda Gonzales of Douglas, Stephanie Dyal of Hazlehurst; grandchildren, Bella and Jaxson.
Services were held Aug. 29 at Flomaton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Colter and the Rev. Lewis Maples officiating.
