Mrs. Dorine Hutcheson, 82

Mrs. Dorine Hutcheson, 82, of Soperton passed away on July 25 at Memorial Hospital in Savannah.
Born in Montgomery County, she was the eldest of seven children born to the late Lessie Mae Johnson. She and her siblings lived in Montgomery and Tatnall counties before moving to Soperton in the early 1960s. Mrs. Hutcheson had worked for a period of time as a seamstress at Oxford Manufacturing as well as a machine operator at Federal Pacific.
Mrs. Hutcheson enjoyed sewing, shopping, reading her Bible and completing word search puzzles.
She had been a member at Zaidee Advent Christian Church and Blackville Church of God.
In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Hutcheson, a brother, Alfred Norfleet and sisters, Virginia Denmark and Francis Hall.
She leaves behind, sons James Norfleet (Debra), Lyons, Bobby Norfleet (Donna), Lyons, Lloyd Norfleet (Diane), Soperton; daughter Barbara Campbell (Jack), Hazlehurst; twin brothers, Kenneth “Muscles” Norfleet and Benneth (Benny) Norfleet, sister, Ollie Norfleet, all of Soperton; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held July 28 in the Williams Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Steptoe officiating.
Mrs. Hutcheson was laid to rest beside her husband in Hutcheson Cemetery.
