Miss Marvie Lee Rentz, 85

Miss Marvie Lee Rentz, 85, of Hazlehurst, died April 5 at Navicent Hospital in Macon.
Miss Rentz was born July 19, 1933, in Appling County to the late Joe Marvin Rentz and the late Pauline McNeal Rentz. She was retired financial clerk with Lucent Tech and a member of Heritage Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her siblings, Joe Earl Rentz, Felton Rentz and Roderick (Shorty) Rentz.
Survivors include five sisters, Marell Carter of Hazlehurst, Mary Catherine Clark of Vidalia, Margaret Herrington of Baxley, Helen Padgett of Hazlehurst, and Martha Lolley of Hazlehurst; several nieces and nephews.
Services were held April 7 at Mt Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Wigley officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Active pallbearers were David Carter, Don Clark, Brad Leggett, Sam Coleman, Louis Morales, and Rod Rentz.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
