Mr. Clarence Ed Scott, 62

Miles Funeral Home in Hazlehurst announces the funeral for Mr. Clarence Ed Scott, 62, of Hazlehurst who passed away Feb. 23 at his home. Services were held Feb. 25 in North Gate Baptist Church.
The Rev. Wayne Merritt officiated with burial in Union Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Scott was born March 8, 1956, in Hazlehurst. He was the son of the late Clarence Scott and Adell Shumans Scott and was preceded in death by his wife Amy Hope Scott.
Survivors include son C.J. Scott of Hazlehurst; nephew, Howard Scott of Baxley; and niece, Michelle Scott Allday of Hazlehurst.
Active pallbearers were Phil Merritt, Gary Merritt, Oral Shumans, Troy Shumans, Donnie Shumans and Zackary Manning.
Honorary were Woody Folsom’s Roll Back Drivers.
Music was renedered by Gary Merritt and Janice Johnson.
Miles Funeral Home was in charge.
