Mr. Mickey Beecher, 48

Mr. Mickey Beecher, 48, of Hazlehurst, died Feb. 12 at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah.
Mr. Beecher was born Nov. 26, 1970, in Jeff Davis County.
He was employed with Beecher’s Land Clearing and a member of Southside Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his father, Wilton Beecher.
Survivors include daughter, Amber Beecher of Hazlehurst; mother, Emily Hurley Beecher of Hazlehurst; brother, Lloyd Beecher of Baxley; grandson, Will Wooten of Hazlehurst; several cousins.
Services were held Feb. 15 at Southside Baptist Church with the Rev. Deek Dubberly and the Rev. Brian Brazzell officiating.
Interment followed in Union Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Wayne Hurley, Kacey Hurley, Stanley Hurley, Veston Hurley, Matt Beecher, Jeffery Johnson, Earl Beecher, and Jared Beecher.
Musical selections were rendered by Hal Cox and Jeffery Spell.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
