Mr. Malcolm Varnadoe, 89

Mr. Malcolm Varnadoe, 89, of Lumber City, died Feb. 16 at Memorial Hospital in Savannah.
Mr. Varnadoe was born July 6, 1929, in Telfair County to the late Clarence Varnadoe and the late Susie Webster Varnadoe. He was retired from the State of Georgia, a business owner, and farmer and is preceded in death by his daughter, Elaine Williams.
Survivors include his wife, Jessie Mae Fordam Varnadoe of Lumber City; daughters, Yvonne Ertzberger of Lumber City, Rhonda Taylor (Carl) of Hazlehurst and Susan Webster (Tommy) of Lumber City; sons, Mike Varnadoe (Dawn) of Lumber City and Derrick Varnadoe of Lumber City; grandchildren, Craig Wilcox, Chris Wilcox, Danny Smith, Jody Neal, Mollie Jefferys, Ryan Taylor, Jordan Taylor, Hope Webster, Heather Graham and Jaci Varnadoe; several great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held Feb. 19 at Lumber City Methodist Church with the Rev. Glenn Hancock officiating.
Interment followed in Riverside Cemetery in Lumber City.
Honorary pallbearers were all friends and family in attendance.
Active pallbearers were Danny Smith, Chris Wilcox, Jody Neal, Ryan Taylor, Jordan Taylor and Tuck Graham.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
