Mr. Gary R. Teter, 66

Mr. Gary R. Teter, 66, of Statesboro passed from this life Jan. 25 after a brief illness. He was born in Tipton, Ind., Oct. 31, 1952, to Lawrence and Rosalee Teter.
Gary was a graduate of Indiana University with a BA in English. He taught at Appling County High School in Baxley and Jeff Davis High School in Hazlehurst. He later completed his MA degree and Sixth Year Specialist degree in School Psychology. Before his retirement, he worked in various counties throughout Southeast Georgia.
Gary is survived by his wife of 38 years, Pamela Sellers Teter and his son, Zachary Teter.
In honor of Gary’s wishes, no funeral service will be held.
