Rev. Grady Selph, 85

Miles Funeral Home in Hazlehurst announces the funeral for the Rev. Grady Selph, 85, of Brooklet formerly of Hazlehurst, who passed away Jan. 15. Services were held Jan. 18 in North Gate Baptist Church.
The Rev. Kenneth Harrellson officiated with burial in Hazlehurst City Cemetery.
Rev. Selph was born in Milan. He was the son of the late Freeman Selph and Della Maude McDonald Selph and was preceded in death by his wife Betty Rentz Selph. Rev. Selph was a retired sheet metalist for Delta, co-owner of C & S Lawncare and was a former pastor of Denton Baptist Church and North Gate Baptist Church. He was a member of Blitchton First Baptist Church in Blitchton.
Survivors include children Randy Selph of Augusta, Debbie and Charlie Hodges of Lyons, Cindy and Glenn Hart of Bloomingdale, Elizabeth Dadin (Cleveland Burkhalter), Sharon and Douglas Currie, Tony and Sara Crosby all of Savannah; sister Shirley Wood of Hazlehurst; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two great—great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Music was rendered by Debbie Hodges, Cindy Hart, Charlie Shirley, granddaughter and the congregation.
Active pallbearers were Cliff Callaway, Jay Callaway, Gary Hart, Kentarious Jennings, Doug Currie, Tony Crosby, Gerald Evans and Wesley Griffin.
Honorary were A. J. Dixon, Tyler Dixon and Winnon Griffin.
Miles Funeral Home was in charge.
