Mr. Ronald Griffin, 69

Miles Funeral Home in Hazlehurst announces the graveside service for Mr. Ronald Griffin, 69, of Hazlehurst, who passed away Sept. 18. Services were held Sept. 20 in Palms Memorial Garden Cemetery on the Lumber City Highway with the Rev. Jinker Horton officiating.
Mr. Griffin was born in Appling County. He was the son of the late Fulton Griffin and Linnie Mae Simmons Griffin and the husband of the late Margaret Virginia Chavis Griffin and was preceded in death by his infant son: Shawn Griffin. Mr. Griffin worked for Williams Brothers Trucking for 37 years.
Survivors include daughter and fiance Heather Griffin and James Ogilvie of Hazlehurst; daughters and son-in-law Joy and Jerry Waters of Waycross, Beth Greenwood of Richmond, Ind.; sons and daughter-in-law Steven and Sherri Griffin of McRae, Randy and Pam Oldham of Hazlehurst; sister Sylvia Selph of Hazlehurst; brother Wendell Griffin of Soperton; 19 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
