Mrs. Martha Faye Smith Rentz, 76

Mrs. Martha Faye Smith Rentz, 76, of Hazlehurst, died Sept. 12 at Jeff Davis Hospital.
Mrs. Rentz was born Dec. 27, 1941, in Coffee County to the late Lewis Smith and the late Selma Merritt Smith. She was a homemaker and member of Heritage Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dan Rentz, daughters, Wanda Worth and Mandy Hale and grandson, Ashley Worth.
Survivors include daughters, Tammy Davis (Mather), Kathy McDuffie and Cheryl Hinson; granddaughter, Heather Carter; son, Danny Rentz; sisters, Shirley Stankowitz, Margaret Garrett, Mildred Nall; brother, Donny Wayne Smith; grandchildren, Jake Davis, Anjel Worth, Jesse Davis, Britney Selph, Beth Smith, Candace Nichols and Patty Land; 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Sept. 15 at Heritage Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronnie Wilcox Sr. officiating. Interment followed in Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Lou Munsayac and his staff and members of Heritage Baptist Church.
Active pallbearers were Jesse Davis, Jake Davis, Bailey Carter, Mason Carter, Gage Nichols and Allec Nichols.
Musical selections were rendered by Sue Duckett.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
