Mr. William Joseph ‘Joe’ Burress, 65

Mr. William Joseph “Joe” Burress, 65, of McRae, died Sept. 3 in Vidalia.
He worked with Pumpco Pipe Line Construction. He was a member of the McRae Jaycees and loved spending time at the Gator Creek Sporting Class.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, William Leroy “Nook” Burress and Mary Ann “Jane” McGowan Burress.
Memorial services were held Sept. 6 in the chapel of Lowe’s Funeral Home. The Rev. Joe Elton officiated.
Survivors include his children, Andy (Dana) Burress of Perry and Jodi (John) Robbins of Valdosta; sister, Lee (Randy) Murray of Hazlehurst; grandchildren, Drew Burress of Perry and Kailey Burress of Perry, Jack Robbins of Valdosta and Bo Robbins of Valdosta.
