Mr. Billy Joe Creamer, 75, of Hazlehurst, died May 15 in Memorial Satilla Health Hospital in Waycross.
Mr. Creamer was born Jan. 10, 1943, in Appling County to the late Joseph Daniel Creamer and the late Ada Mae Hall Creamer. He was retired from Hazlehurst Mills and a member of Hazlehurst Pentecostal Church. He is preceded in death by son, Billy Barber, grandson, Leon Kirkland, siblings, Jimmy Creamer, Geneva Lewis, Jeanette Courson, Evelyn Courson, Eula Mae Herrington and Carol Dean Johns.
Survivors include his wife, Veron Watkins Creamer; daughters and sons-in-law, Linda Marie Keith (Larry) of Springfield, Shelby Joe Kicklighter (Lucky) Lyons, Mary Sue Gibbs of Baxley and Latrelle Barber of Surrency; sisters, Jean Spell of Hazlehurst, Betty Taylor of Hazlehurst and Rhonda Rowland of Hazlehurst; 13 grandchildren, Haleigh, Logan, Landon, Heather, Carrie, Thomas, Ikie, Tina, Cam, Alyssa, Kelly, Billy and Robie; several great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; nieces and nephews.
Services were held May 19 at Hazlehurst Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Thomas Colter and the Rev. Charles Carter officiating. Interment followed in Liberty Community Church Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers were the Hazlehurst Pentecostal Church family and all friends in attendance.
Active pallbearers were Ikie Pate, Thomas Gibbs, Billy Barber, Logan Kicklighter, Nate DoBose, Robbie Barber and Landon Kicklighter.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
