Mr. Raven Dell Hedrick, 68

Mr. Raven Dell Hedrick, 68, of Hazlehurst, died April 16 at Community Hospice House in Vidalia.
Mr. Hedrick was born May 8, 1949, in New Port, Ark., to the late Arthur Odell Hedrick and Clora Hartwick Hedrick. He was a veteran of the United States Army, retired from Hazlehurst Mills and a member of Hazlehurst Church of God. He is preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Walker Hedrick.
Survivors include his sons, Steven Hedrick of Hazlehurst and Kenneth Hedrick of Hazlehurst; sister, Clara Hedrick Cooper (Belvin) of Lexington, N.C.; niece, Crystal Stewart (Sam) of Lexington, N.C.; several nieces and nephews.
Services were held April 19 in Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. John Daughtry officiating.
Active pallbearers were Danny Burns, Jason Burns, Joey Atkinson, Riley Atkinson, Charles Carelock and Jeff Flack.
Musical selections were rendered by JaLayne Coleman.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
