Children’s Christmas program is Dec. 13

David and Gail Miller of Because He Lives Ministries are preparing for the Dec. 13 Children’s Christmas Program for the children of Jeff Davis County, an annual event many children and families look forward to each year.
David and Gail Miller share, “Our goal is to help the people in our community and we do that at Christmas by helping the children. This program has a two-fold purpose. First, it gives us an opportunity to share the true meaning of Christmas with the people of our community and second, it makes the children happy.”
The event takes place in the parking lot of the Recreation Center on Hwy. 341 across from Because He Lives Ministries. An outdoor stage is set up for the event and families watch the performance from their vehicles and listen by radio. They encourage families to come to the Mission Store and register their children for the program. Volunteers are needed Dec. 13 to help with passing out gifts and goodies. Church groups are welcome to help. Monetary donations are very helpful.
