Soccer sweeps Bacon, Brantley

This past week, Jeff Davis Soccer had two region games to continue their season.
First up was Bacon County at home. The girls had an impressive game as they got a 5-2 victory. The goals came from Alex Arano, who scored 3, and Abby Harper and Carrie Ellen Arnold who each scored one. The boys would go on to complete the clean sweep over Bacon as they won the game 4-2. Jair Valdelamar scored 3 of the goals and Konnor Munsayac scored the other goal in the game.
On Friday, Brantley County came to the Pinelands. The girls won the game with the score of 5-2. Alex Arano scored 4 goals and Abby Harper scored the other. On the boys’ side, they went on to win 10-1, their biggest margin of victory this season. Manny Chavez had 4 goals to his name, while Fabian Valdelamar, Konnor Munsayac, David Calderon, Aldo Morales, Lane McCall, and Owen King would each have a goal.
After this game, the girls’ record is 11-1, while the boys’ is 8-4. Jeff Davis will only have one game this week as they travel to Worth County on March 26sp.
