Four more people were inducted into the Jeff Davis High Football Hall of Fame at Saturday evening’s Legends Gala 2025 held at the school system’s Multi-Purpose Ag Center.
Inducted were former player and coach the late Cecil Morris from the 1950s-1960s, lineman Frank Bragg from the 1970s, Ricardo Williams from the 1990s, and the late Randy “Bug” Smith as a Supporting Role inductee.
Six current Yellow Jacket players were recognized for being selected to wear the jersey numbers of the six Yellow Jacket Legacy Players, the inaugural selections to the Hall of Fame:
No. 10 – James Earl Cray, being worn by La’Trell Sellers.
No. 16 – Nate Hybl, being worn by Mark Durden.
No. 22 – Calvin Harrison, being worn by Ian Griffin.
No. 34 – Barry Jones, being worn by Kobe Hill.
No. 47 – Deshay McKever, being worn by Josh Worthington.
No. 66 – Mike Stewart, being worn by Jaylen Wilson-Gamble.
