Mr. Wilbert Jeremiah Baker

Services for Mr. Wilbert Jeremiah Baker were held Jan. 11 at King Brothers Funeral Home in Hazlehurst with Pastor Tara Woody, Janice Brown and “special friend” Cynthia Mackey officiating.
Mr. Baker was born in Hazlehurst, the son of the late Alzie Baker and Jeanette Cromartie. He was raised by Christine Walker and attended Jeff Davis High School. He was preceded in death by his sister Janell Baker.
Survivors include his children Christine LaWanda Baker, Latonya Smith, James (Jacquline) Smith and Jaquan Buchanan; grandchildren A’miracile Baker, Jazmine Baker, Kingston Baker, ZaRyia Smith, Tyreek Brown, Amira Brown, Chayance Smith and Quan Harris; sisters Sylvia Jean Chandler and Elaine Baker; nieces and nephews Antonio Chandler, Carrie Chandler, Charlene(Luisito) Ledesma, Dominique Baker, Anthony Baker, Antwane Baker, Gregory (Gracil) Baker, Brad Baker and Nora Baker.
Music was provided by Tasha Cobbs and Julie Whitfield. Honorary pallbearers were cousins.
Active pallbearers were James Buchanan, Corey Walker, Eddie Jones Jr., Greg Baker, Anthony Baker and Dominique Baker.
King Brothers Funeral Home was in charge.
