Mr. Milton Davis Tobler, 65

Services for Mr. Milton Davis Tobler, 65, who died March 2 at Memorial Health University Health Center in Savannah, were held March 9 at St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Lumber City with Bishop William Hollis and the Rev. Charles A. Anderson Sr. officiating. Burial was in Dillard Cemetery in Alamo.
Active pallbearers were nephews and friends Randy Joiner, Zack Wesley, Delmonte Conaway, Eric Tobler, Jimmie Lee Clements, and Ferman Wesley
Mr. Tobler was born March 11, 1958, to the late Orembers Tobler Sr. and Emma Sue Harris Tobler in Lumber City. He attended Telfair County Schools. He was employed by Pallet One in Hazlehurst for many years.
Fishing was one of his hobbies. He also loved to sit around and spend time with his family and friends.
Preceding him in death are his parents; siblings Quilla Tobler Sr., Orembers “Buster” Tobler Jr., Adolph Tobler, Eddie Tobler, Jerome Tobler, Loretta Tobler, and Willie Mae Tobler Robinson; special friend and checker partner, Peanut Brown.
Survivors include a devoted wife, Caroline Morrison of Miami, Fla.; daughters Nicole Tobler of Lumber City and Latoya Baker of Duncan, Ala.; three grandchildren: Qundaja Tobler, Audriell Armstrong, and Rahkeem Tobler, all of Lumber City, GA; great-grandchildren NaRiyah Green, Brielle Tobler, and LeiLani Tobler, all of Lumber City; brothers, Herman and Willie Tobler, both of Lumber City, and Bobby Tobler of Jacksonville, Fla.; sisters Mary Lean Salem, Jackie (Tab) Wolfolk, Eloise Tobler, all of Lumber City, Hattie Lee Stegall of Hazlehurst; paternal uncle Jonas Tobler of Vidalia; maternal aunts Mildred Harris of Miami, Fla., and Tommie Lee Batten of Lumber City; maternal uncle Eck Lee Harris of Miami, Fla.; godmother Janie Mae Hollis and god sister, Lou Hollis, both of Lumber City; special friend, Alford Brantley; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friend.
King Brothers Funeral Home and Cremation Services was in charge.
