Mrs. Patricia Colson Chaney (Judy), 79

Mrs. Patricia Colson Chaney (Judy), 79, of Hazlehurst, passed away April 18.
Mrs. Chaney was born May 6, 1943, in Jeff Davis County to the late Lemuel Earl Colson and the late Bernice Fern Livingston Colson. She was a homemaker and loved being a mother to her five children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Marrell Chaney; sisters, Frances Butler, and Carolyn Rentz; brother, John Earl Colson; grandsons, Samuel Chaney and Paul Chaney.
Survivors include her children, Richard Marrell Chaney Jr. (Ashley) of Axson, Meghan Chaney Parris (Michael) of Boiling Springs, S.C., Jonathan Chaney of Donalsonville, Candace Chaney of Gaffney, S.C., and Ashley Chaney of Hazlehurst; granddaughters, Abigail Chaney and Courtney Pollock; grandsons, Aaron Chaney and Jeremi Chaney; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held April 20 in the chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with the Rev. Jack Chaney officiating.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
