Soccer teams beat Worth

Jeff Davis Soccer travelled to Worth County for their lone match of the week. This was also the last region matchup for the season.
The girls had a hard fought match that had to be resolved in penalty kicks, as the score stayed 2-2 after regular time and two overtime halves.
Haley Hughes stepped up big as she saved a shot and Carrie Ellen Arnold scored the last kick to give the Lady Jackets the victory and secure 2nd place in the region.
As for the boys, they recorded a 7-0 victory, with Manny Chavez scoring 3 goals, Konnor Munsayac scoring 2 goals, and Fabian Valdelamar and Jair Valdelamar scoring 1. Boys also secured 2nd in the region.
Jeff Davis has two home games before spring break, with them hosting Long County March 31 and Cook County April 2. Girls start at 5, and boys follow after.
