Candidates enter legislative races
Three men have qualified to run for election to represent Jeff Davis County in the Georgia House of Representatives. And four men have qualified for the State Senate seat vacated by Blake Tillery, who will instead run for Lieutenant Governor.
Qualifying for District 157 State Representative are Republican incumbent Bill Werkheiser, Republican Bradley Anderson and Democrat Micah Meshach King. All three are from Tattnall County.
Qualifying for State Senate are Democrats Joshua C. Wilkerson of Appling County and Eduardo Noel Delgado of Toombs County, and Republicans Dwayne Hamilton Gillis of Coffee County, and David Sikes and Travis Hodges, both of Toombs County.
