Ms. Judy Lee Brown, 79

Ms. Judy Lee Brown, 79, of Lumber City, passed away Feb. 2 at Hazlehurst Court Care and Rehabilitation Center under the care of Community Hospice.
Judy was born onMarch 22, 1946, in Lumber City, to the late Clinton S. Webb and Lois Smith Webb. She was a native and lifelong resident of Lumber City and was a faithful member of Lumber City Baptist Church. Judy was a Christian lady who loved the Lord and lived her life with strong faith.
Judy was known for always having something sweet waiting at her house. She loved baking cakes, and family and friends could count on her kitchen always being full of warmth and good food. Her grandchildren proudly claimed she was the best chicken fryer in the world. She enjoyed fishing, thrift store shopping, and hunting for hidden treasures wherever she went. She also loved reading and staying on the go. Judy had a dry sense of humor and loved playing jokes on others, always keeping her family laughing. More than anything, she was family-oriented and deeply loved her children and grandchildren. She cherished every moment spent with those she loved most.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Helen Brown; and brother Ronald Webb.
Survivors include her son Berry (Treacie) Moore of Lumber City; daughter Vickie Moore of Hazlehurst; sister Kathy Griffin of Lumber City; six grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held Feb. 5 at Riverside Cemetery in Lumber City with Pastor John Daughtry officiating.
Active pallbearers were Bryce Burkett, Chris Griffin, and her grandsons Zachery Moore and Drake Moore.
The family extends a special thank you to Judy’s granddaughters-in-law, Brittany Moore and Autumn Moore, along with nurses Beth Carter and Samantha Lankford, and all the nurses and staff of Hazlehurst Court Care and Rehabilitation and Community Hospice for the loving care and compassion shown to Judy prior to her passing.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
