Mrs. Betty Ann Chambers Clark, 61

Mrs. Betty Ann Chambers Clark, 61, of Uvalda, died Jan. 22 at her home following an extended illness.
She was a native of Montgomery County and lived near Uvalda all of her life. She attended Toombs Central School and was a 1982 graduate of Montgomery County High School. She retired after 30 years from the U.S. Postal Service, working in Hazlehurst most of her career and two years in Uvalda. She was a member of Smyrna Church, and she enjoyed going on cruises, fishing at the Altamaha River, and painting pictures. She is preceded in death by her father, William Chambers.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years Randal “T.” Clar, son Can Clark and wife India, nephew J.W. Raper, all of Uvalda; mother Inez Partin Chambers; sisters Flossie Chambers of Patterson and Debbie Jean Chambers Raper of Uvalda; brother Peter Bo Chambers of Patterson; grandchildren Kayleigh (Aiden), Lane, Brileigh and Colt; great-grandson Cohen; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Per her request, there will no service.
