Heart of Our Community fund-raiser underway

The Heart of Our Community is officially on the move! The program highlights the people, businesses and organizations that make Hazlehurst–Jeff Davis a better place all February long. We hope to keep it moving and highlight as many of the great people and places in Hazlehurst that we can!
The heart is traveling around town to spread awareness, support and community pride — and you’re part of the journey! Our Heart of Our Community fundraiser benefits the Jeff Davis Community Foundation — a foundation managed by the Chamber of Commerce that benefits many local funds — including our JD Strong hurricane relief loans, historic preservation and scholarships for local students.
What to do Next.
1. Display the heart proudly at your location for a little while.
2. Donate to help support our community foundation to move it to the next location.
3. Choose the next stop and send the heart to another business, organization, or even family in town that you think makes our community a better place!
