Mr. William Larry Williams, 78

Mr. William Larry Williams, a beloved member of the Lumber City community, passed away Jan. 22 in Baxley at the age of 78.
Born April 12, 1947, in McRae, William was the son of the late William Coffee Williams and Willie Lucille Russ Williams.
Throughout his life, William dedicated himself to numerous vocations, making significant contributions as a truck driver, carpet installer and farmer. He was also known for his entrepreneurial spirit as the former owner/operator of Williams Feed & Seed and the 341 Mud Bog. His work was marked by a strong commitment to his profession and the communities he served.
William was a veteran, having served in the United States Army. He was a long-standing member of Lumber City Methodist Church, where he shared his faith and values with those around him.
He leaves behind a loving family, including his daughters, Sabrena Waldon and Shannon Renee Williams, both of Hazlehurst;his sister, Virginia (Randy) Hand of Lumber City; granddaughter, Breanna (Austin) Harvey; and cherished great-grandsons Landon Russ Waldon and Aiden Konnor Harvey.
Services were held Jan. 24 in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home, with burial at Telfair Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Williams will be remembered fondly for his unwavering spirit, a legacy that continues to inspire all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to experience his kindness and dedication.
