Mrs. Bertha Mae Hill, 78

Mrs. Bertha Mae Hill was a loving wife, a mother, a grandmother, a great-grandmother, a sister, and an aunt.
She was born April 30, 1943, to the late Ike White and Easter White. Bertha was a hard worker. After many years of faithful employment, she retired from Hazlehurst Mills. She enjoyed sewing and going to church. She was a member of Praise Tabernacle Holiness Church in Graham. She was united in holy matrimony Aug. 12, 1977, to the late Hosea Hill Sr. and they were married for 11 years. Bertha answered the Lord’s call Nov. 15.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hosea Hill Sr., and her parents.
Survivors include her son Alton Boles; sister Rena Mae Frazier; brother Lenard Thomas; sister-in-law Mary Clemons; grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Services were held Nov. 22 at Macedonia Baptist Church. Burial followed in Morgan Chapel Cemetery.
King Brothers Funeral Home, Hazlehurst, was in charge.
