Mr. Corey Wayne Varnadoe, 43

Mr. Corey Wayne Varnadoe, 43, of Lumber City, passed away Nov. 23 at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah.
Corey was born May 4, 1982, in Vidalia and spent his entire life in Lumber City. He was a graduate of Jeff Davis High School and attended Helena Baptist Church. He lived life with a spirit of adventure and joy. He enjoyed golf, skydiving, snow skiing and spending time with his children — his greatest blessing. He loved watching their baseball and football games and never missed a chance to cheer them on. Corey had a good heart and a love for joking and laughing that brought joy to those around him.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Earl and Lettie Mae Varnadoe; and maternal grandparents William and Mary Ann Willett.
Corey is survived by his parents Wayne and Diana Varnadoe of Lumber City; fiancé Emily Warren of McRae; sons Brayden Miles of Baxley, Jaxon Varnadoe and Grayson Varnadoe, both of McRae; daughters Reagan Long (Hadley) of Jesup and Ava Varnadoe of McRae; and sisters Whitley Taylor and Tina Varnadoe, both of Lumber City.
Services were held Nov. 26 at Fishing Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Roswell Chapman officiating.
Burial was in the Fishing Creek Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Hadley Long, Brayden Miles, Jaxon Varnadoe, Ben Varnadoe, Sean Adams and Andrew Varnadoe.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
