Mrs. Paula Jeanette Bloodworth, 85

Mrs. Paula Jeanette Bloodworth, 85, a compassionate mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Nov. 6 at Bacon County Hospital.
Mrs. Bloodworth resided in Jeff Davis County most of her life. She was a retired Master Cosmetologist and retired business owner of Jeanette’s Beauty Salon. Mrs. Bloodworth had a passion for the Lord, her family, clients, art and painting, gardening, horses and beauty pageants.
Mrs. Bloodworth was a 1958 graduate of Jeff Davis High School, where she was drum major, Ms. Jeff Davis, and 1st Clarinet. She also attended Brewton-Parker College.
Mrs. Bloodworth was born July 27, 1940, to Paul Junion McDonald and Gladys Smith McDonald. She is survived by her brothers Harold McDonald of San Angelo, Texas.
Mrs. Bloodworth is preceded in death by her husband Clint Bloodworth; father Paul McDonald; mother Gladys McDonald; grandson Jacob Bloodworth;and great-granddaughter Rylee Bloodworth; great-grandson Zain Dyal; brothers Ramsey (Joan) and Raymond McDonald; and sister Doris Miller (Curtis).
Survivors include her children Jim Bloodworth (Fran), Paula Bloodworth, Jeff Bloodworth and John Bloodworth (Jill); grandchildren Matt Bloodworth (Marsha), Libby Bloodworth, Asia Boatright, Stephanie Dyal, Josh Dyal, Neil Carter (Jana), Lance Carter, Nick Bloodworth (Ashland), Skyler Bloodworth, Andrew Bloodworth (Kerry) and Callie Bloodworth (DJ); great-grandchildren Jada Bloodworth, Kysen and Kaisley Bloodworth, Braydon and Brody Bloodworth, Rylan Bloodworth, Drake Bloodworth, Dalton Dyal, Anthony Munoz, Christian and Carmen Webster; great-great-grandchildren Teddy Mac Bloodworth, Glesias Oliver, Sara Ann Oliver, Prince Conaway, Finnegn Oliver, Kalaina Webster, Colton and Caleb Carter, Karlie and Kaylie Carter, Mattie and Avana.
Pallbearers were Mitchell Newham, Drake Bloodworth, Neil Carter, Rylan Bloodworth, Lance Carter and James Mock.
Services were held at Wainright-Parlor Nov. 11 with burial at the City Cemetery on S. Williams Street in Hazlehurst.
