Mr. Robert Lee (Robbie) Wells, 62

Mr. Robert Lee (Robbie) Wells, 62, of Hazlehurst, passed away Nov. 1 at Meadows Memorial Hospital in Vidalia.
Mr. Wells was born May 22, 1963, in Jeff Davis County.
He is preceded in death by his parents Hugh Robert Wells and Carolyn Virginia Shumans Wells, sisters Linda Williams and Carolyn Currie, and brother Bobby Gene Wells.
Robbie was a man who found joy in life’s many adventures. He loved hunting, fishing, scuba diving, motocross and mud bogging, and was an avid cruiser who enjoyed being out on the water. More than anything, Robbie cherished the time he spent with his family. He adored his grandchildren, loved the Lord with all his heart and found great pleasure in cooking a good meal to share with those he loved. His life was filled with passion, faith and family – and he will be deeply missed.
His remaining family includes sons and daughters-in-law Kameron (Somer) Wells of Lumber City and Kyler (Logan) Wells of Hazlehurst; daughters Hailey Davis of Fitzerald and Jada Wells (Cameron Taylor) of Hazlehurst; sister Cindy (Marky) Hall of Hazlehurst; grandchildren Brightyn Davis and Knox Wells; nephews Lee (Mallory) Hall of Guyton, Corey (Marti) Hall of Hazlehurst and Tanner (Jaycee) Hall of Hazlehurst.
Services will be held Nov. 5 at 2 p.m. at Bible Baptist Church with the Rev. Manford Gilbert officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
