Ms. Donnie Lee Hall Farmer, 87

Ms. Donnie Lee Hall Farmer, 87, of Hazlehurst, passed away Dec. 30 at Hazlehurst Court Care.
Ms. Farmer was born July 31, 1937, in Jeff Davis County to the late Frank and Irene Hall. She was a lifelong resident of Hazlehurst and a member of Hazlehurst Church of Christ. She enjoyed doing word searches and caring for her two fur babies, her cat Tom Jack, and her dog Cowboy.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband Richard Rowell Jr.; her second husband Noah Farmer; brother and sister-in-law Donald and Lanette Hall; and nephews Larry Reynolds and Mike Reynolds.
Survivors include her daughter Joyce (Vince) Eason of Hazlehurst; sister Modrey Yawn of Hazlehurst; grandchildren Nicole Eason and Nick Eason, both of Hazlehurst; nephews Jimmy (Debra) Reynolds, and Stanley (Ann) Reynolds, all of Hazlehurst; niece Wanda (Jerry) Rowland of Hazlehurst; and numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, and “adopted” children and grandchildren.
Services were held Jan. 2 in the chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Lariscey officiating.
Interment followed in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Nick Eason, Kirk Hopkins, Tyler Hughes, Levi Powell, Matt Eason, and Rob Waters.
Honorary pallbearers were the nurses and staff of Hazlehurst Court Care and Coastal Hospice, and members of Hazlehurst Church of Christ.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home and the Farmer family were in charge.
