Mr. Anthony Richard Edwards, 67
Services for Mr. Anthony Richard Edwards, 67, who died Oct. 3 at Savannah Memorial Hospital in Savannah, were held Oct. 12 at Bennett Tabernacle Holiness Church with Elder Eddie Harmon officiating.
Mr. Edwards was born Dec. 24, 1956, in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., to the late Frank Edwards and Carrie Mae Edwards. He attended Telfair County Schools and was employed for many years at Amercord. He enjoyed listening to music, fixing cars and spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson Royrickus Clements and stepson Bobby Tobler.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years Annie Pearl Edwards; stepchildren Ricky Howell of McRae, Avis Johnson of Hazlehurst, Sharon Andrews of Lumber City, Vicky Tobler of Jacksonville, Fla., Jacqueline (Tony) Mitchell of Douglas; siblings Gloria Fletcher, Frankie (Susan) Edwards, Ricky Edwards, Kenneth (Cynthia) Edwards, Alonzo Edwards, Stanley (Angela) Edwards, Calvin (Debra) Edwards and Roudeth Edwards; 21 grandchildren; in-laws Runnell Overtree, Veronica (Elijah) Towns and Clarence (Ola Mae) Howell; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other relatives.
Active pallbearers were grandsons. Flower attendants were granddaughters
King Brothers Funeral Home and Cremation Services was in charge.
