Mrs. Jeneane Wilcher Smith, 79

Mrs. Jeneane Wilcher Smith, 79, of Snipesville, passed away Aug. 22 at her residence.
Mrs. Smith was born April 11, 1945, in Bibb County.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow and Edna Ward Wilcher, and was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. She was a homemaker, and took her job seriously. She enjoyed watching TV, She was an avid fan of Elvis Presley and enjoyed going to the mall shopping.
Also, she enjoyed vacationing with her family at Daytona BeacHer grandchildren (knew her as memama), they truly were a treasure to her, she loved spending time with them and her entire family. She will be sadly missed by all.
Survivors include her husband Alfred Smith of Snipesville; son, Gregory Smith of Snipesville; daughter Gina Smith Rozier of Darien; brothers Danny Wilcher (Alice Ann) of Winder and Gregory Scott Wilcher (Kathern) of Toccoa; sister Terrie Stephens (Allan) of Panama City; grandchildren Lance Smith, Cameron Rozier, and Jenna Batten (Jake), Janay Smith; great-grandchildren Hunter Smith, Bryson Smith, Jentri Batten and Asher Brewer; several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Aug. 24 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with her sister Terrie Stephens giving a eulogy, and the Rev. Doug Weisel and the Rev. Heath Carver officiating.
Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Honorary active pallbearers were her great-grandsons Hunter Smith and Bryson Smith.
Active pallbearers were Loyd Johnson, Darrell Hutto, Dustin Hutto, Jerry Wooten, Kirk Munsayac, and James Smith.
Music was rendered by Doris Wooten.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
