Mr. Tony Scott, 65

Mr. Tony Scott, 65, of Lumber City, passed away Aug. 6 at Community Hospice in Vidalia.
Mr. Scott was born April 14, 1959, in Telfair County.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John Scott and Polly Hilton Scott, and sister-in-law, Kay Scott.
Tony was definitely an outdoorsman. He liked to fish on the Ocmulgee River and when he wasn’t fishing, he was piddling.
Survivors include his sons and daughter-in-law, Jason Scott of Uvalda, Jamie and Kellie Scott of Mt. Vernon, Jeremy Scott of Uvalda and Jordan Scott of Lumber City; brother Keith Scott of Marietta; grandchildren Taylor Scott, Logan Scott, Jalyn Scott and Kylee Scott; niece Amanda Scott and nephew, Adam Scott of Marietta.
Graveside service was held Aug. 9 in Riverside Cemetery in Lumber City with Jay Murray officiating.
Active pallbearers were Jay Murray, Steve Scott, Taylor Scott, Jimmy Jones, Logan Scott and Spencer Webster.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
