Mr. John Christopher Moore, 55

Mr. John Christopher Moore, 55, of Baxley passed away Aug. 14 at Community Hospice in Vidalia.
Chris was born Nov. 22, 1969, in Ware County. He was a dedicated lineman and truck driver who took great pride in his work. Through the years, he was employed with Southeast Power, Mas Tech, and C & C Power. He was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Blackshear. Chris enjoyed 4-wheeling and sports, especially NASCAR and the Florida Gators. He was preceded in death by his father John Moore; sister Dana Moore-Scott; stepfather Gary Corbin; and granddaughters Wilder and Wylder Sellers.
Survivors include his daughters Shayla (Jonathon) Sellers of Baxley, Amber (Johnny) Clark of Hazlehurst, Rachelle Paris of Macclenny, Fla., and Hope Godwin of Fernandina Beach, Fla.; sons Brody Moore of Fernandina Beach, Fla., and Aaron Agnew of Hilliard, Fla.; mother Mary Ann Corbin of Baxley; brother Zack Corbin of Baxley; best friend LaTrecia Moore of Fernandina Beach, Fla.; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service was held Aug. 20 in the chapel of Swain Funeral Home with the Rev. Edmund Thrift and Robert Martin officiating.
In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to Community Hospice, 904 Mt. Vernon Rd., Vidalia, GA 30474.
Swain Funeral Home was in charge.
