Mr. Thomas Franklin Ivey, 48

Mr. Thomas Franklin Ivey, 48, of Lumber City, passed away July 12 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Jesup.
Mr. Ivey was born Aug. 28, 1975, in Telfair County.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Franklin Woodrow Ivey and Barbara Ann Kersey Ivey.
He enjoyed the outdoors, especially if it included fishing and hunting. He was an avid Georgia football fan and enjoyed driving a big truck. He will surely be missed.
Survivors include his son Thomas Franklin Ivey Jr. of Hazlehurst; brothers Jimmy Ivey (Heather) of McRae and Daniel Ivey (Jenna) of Lumber City; fiancé Janifer Allene Needham of Odum; nieces and nephews, Mackenzee Ivey, Bradley Ivey, Jimmyjace Ivey and Cayden Ivey all of Lumber City.
Visitation and services will be held July 25 at Lumber City Baptist Church, visitation will begin at 10 a.m. and the funeral will follow at 11 with the Rev. Charles Carter officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Elliot Kersey, Jonathan Kersey, Brian Reagin, Mason Kersey, Jamie Scott and Joe Prescott.
