Tennis teams advance in state tournament

Jeff Davis boys tennis team hosted Glenn Hills last Tuesday for the first round of the state playoffs. The Yellow Jackets defeated Glenn Hills 3-0 with the other two matches being forfeited for an overall of 5-0. The Yellow Jacket boys advanced to the Sweet 16 in state.
On Wednesday, the Lady Jackets hosted Davidson Fine Arts for the first round of the state playoffs. The Lady Jackets defeated Davidson 5-0 . The Lady Jackets also advanced to the Sweet 16.
Both boys and girls hosted Pierce County Tuesday in the next round.
