Soccer hosts Appling

Jeff Davis High’s soccer teams hosted Appling County Monday at the Pinelands. The girls came away with a 2-1 victory but the boys fell short, losing 6-3. For the girls, Alex Arano scored both the Lady Jackets’ goals. For the boys, Gael Valora, Fabian Valdelamar and Tony Toledo each had goals, and Josue Avila and Konnor Munsayac had assists.
