Mrs. Stella Louise Newham Teston, 84

Mrs. Stella Louise Newham Teston, 84, of Baxley passed away April 14 at the Pavilion.
Mrs. Teston was born Dec. 8, 1939, in Miami, Fla., to the late Eugene Gibson Newham and the late Annie Mae McKinney Newham. She was a member of Satilla Free Will Baptist Church and loved to collect recipes and write her own recipe books. She was preceded in death by her husband, Julian W. Teston.
Survivors include her daughter Pam Anderson (Greg) Davis of Hazlehurst; sons Gene (Lisa) Anderson of Hazlehurst, Terrell (Cheryl) Anderson of Hazlehurst, and Tony Teston of Douglas; grandchildren Ashley Anderson of Albany, Ken., and Warren Davis of Jacksonville, Fla.; and great-granddaughter Jaston Anderson of Albany, Ken.; pecial family friend Peggy Hall; and beloved dog, Skeeter.
Graveside services were held April 18 at Burkett Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in West Green with the Rev. Justin McLellan officiating.
Swain Funeral Home was in charge.
