Mrs. Donna Chapman Brewer, 83

Mrs. Donna Chapman Brewer, 83, of Hazlehurst passed away peacefully at Community Hospice in Vidalia.
Mrs. Brewer was born in Hazlehurst to the late Mr. Felt Chapman and Mrs. Jeanette Calhoun. She is preceded in death by her parents Felt and Jeanette Chapman, husband Johnny C. Brewer, sister Teresa Dal Porto, brother Pat Chapman.
Donna was well loved by her family. She was a homemaker but so much more. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and wife. Outside of her family duties she enjoyed many crafts such as sewing and quilting. She was quite the artist and excelled at portraits. Everyone knew her to be a kind hearted and humble person and was dedicated to her life as a mother and wife.
She is survived by her children, Leigh Ann Brewer (Ander Cowart), Bryan Carl Brewer (Eliona Simoes), William Jefferson Brewer (Donna M. Brewer), Trisha M. Lee (Adam Lee); brothers Phil Chapman (Carlene), sister, Jan Chapman Phipps; grandchildren Heather Brownlow (Jason Gore), Joshua Brownlow, Chase Miller, Chelsea Brewer, Blake Adams, Anna G. Roman (Omar), Jenna Ivey (Daniel), Maggie Brewer, Jonathan Brewer, Alexa Smith, Delaney Lee; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services were held at graveside March 16 at Dodge’s Chapel in Lumber City with the Rev. Jinker Horton officiating. Trisha Lee and Bryan Brewer gave eulogies for their mother.
Active pallbearers were Blake Adams, Jonathan Brewer, Jason Gore, Trevor Knecht, Omar Roman and Alex Coundouriotis.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
